Where heritage comes alive, community takes the stage, and new generations rise.

Orlando, FL — For Marka Foundation, participating at Disney Springs on November 15, 2025, was more than a performance—it was a moment of pride, identity, and shared purpose. Through dance and live music, the Foundation brought Venezuelan culture to life, creating a meaningful experience rooted in heritage, collaboration, and community.
The presentation included choreographic works created by Mariana Martínez and Iván Valderrama, commissioned by Marka Foundation and gratefully acknowledged for their creative authorship. Additional pieces were choreographed and performed by Katherine Durand, Artistic Director of Marka Foundation, who also took the stage as a dancer, embodying the creative vision of the program.
Live music gave soul to the evening, performed by an extraordinary group of invited artists:
Magalys Manzano, singer from Barrio Obrero de Cabimas
Renata Álvarez Manzano, singer from Barrio Obrero de Cabimas
Freddy Vermúdez, cuatrista and singer
Marvin Rodríguez, guitarist
The showcase also featured the special participation of Luisana Rivas, soloist and dancer from Danzas Yacambú, whose presence honored tradition and added depth to the stage.
This achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of parents and representatives, under the executive coordination and leadership of María Kellermann, Executive Director of Marka Foundation.
The moments were captured by Francisco Acuña (photography), preserving a night that reflects the heart of the community.
Marka Foundation’s participation at Disney Springs reflects its mission to create spaces where culture is lived, heritage is honored, and young people see their identities celebrated on world-class stages.
