Under the guidance of Executive Director Maria Kellermann, the Venezuela Marka Foundation is thrilled to be an integral part of the "HISPANIC VOICES IN PRO OF HUMAN RIGHTS" summit, a collaboration with the Asociación Multicultural de Activistas "Voz y Expresión" (AMAVEX) and the Organization of American States (OAS). This year’s summit, with a focused theme on Human Rights & Trafficking, highlights timely and critical issues, emphasizing the imperative of global awareness and proactive measures.
The foundation is bringing a special element to the summit through performances by our immigrant dancers, illustrating the role of art in advocacy and storytelling. These performances, envisioned by Artistic Director Katherine Durand and supported by Luis Ramirez Program Director, embody the foundation’s commitment to creating a nurturing environment that fosters community integration, self-expression, and leadership development among immigrants.
"Our foundation is more than a place; it's a vibrant community where performers find support, express their cultural identities, and develop their potentials to the fullest. These performances are a manifestation of our collective resilience, culture, and commitment to human dignity" affirms Durand and Ramirez.
Join us to witness the profound impact of cultural expression in advocating for human rights and to support our stand against trafficking, reinforcing the global call for justice and dignity for all.
